just sad that some of the topics are truly needed to be stated in this day and age.

Much like advising that a dry cleaner's bag is not a toy and a suffocation hazard....

My personal favorite is the warning in snowblower manuals.

"Snowblower should not be used on the roof."

Rick

I do not remember anyone saying there were no problems.

I do remember people prioritizing them differently.

For some reason during the campaign, Quality Of Life blended with crime.

But that is all behind us now.

I have to stress, My only complaint about the crime platform was the constant drum beating both in and out of Lakewood.

I still believe it was over hyped.

But again that is all behind us, now we can worry about dry cleaner bags. peanuts, and snow blowers falling on our heads.

When our new neighbors across the street moved in, they parked their car on the front lawn a number of times. While I thought it was quite an eyesore, I didn't realize it was illegal. They must've read their Neighbor Guide because I haven't seen a car parked there for quite some time!! And if it matters, they're not white.

Not as much as where the car was parked.

Not let me get out the chalkboard. How many?

Only one at a time, but sometimes the car, sometimes the van.

I just need to see someone with a bag on their head snow blowing their roof onto their car in the front yard. Hat trick!

Count yourself lucky.

Are they throwing sod at you?

If not I would doubt they are Irish or Scottish, two vehicles running, and not throwing sod makes it unlikely.

Have they cooked out yet? If the meat is tasty, that would nail it as not from the UK.

Will wait until further reports for the chalk board.

Joe

Did you noticed that since you started this thread, all crime and complaining has stopped in the city?

Good work lad.

Now we can get ready for the 2008 racing season.

having a car parked on the front lawn is a good safety measure. it blocks drunk drivers from plowing into your house. There aren't enough thick trees to cover every area. boulders are too expensive.

Jim,
I am only doing my part as a concerned citizen. I do need to ask was it the thread or the guide that caused the crime and complaining to stop. If it was the guide I owe some one a huge apology.

While I hope the brochure did it's part, as I am friends with some on the committee and can vouch for their intent. Possibly it was nothing more than this post. a simple wake up call to ponder.

Might be the weather.
