Have you looked out your windows today?

Post by sharon kinsella »

White-out.

The cars, at least the ones I can see, on Detroit Ave. are moving at maybe 5 miles an hour. I doubt visibility is more than 10 feet. Cars are pulling off the road and sitting in our parking lot.

I've seen people go out the front door of our building, I assume they live in the back, take one look and go back inside.

It's like all the weather here, beautiful and sometimes scary.

Happy White Christmas!

I just got in from Medina a few minutes ago.

The last few miles, I think I just SLID into town, as it was mostly all downhill

Anyone know where you can get a deal on a few good sled dogs?

All of this just proves that the common statement that "Lakewood is the Aspen of just East of Rocky River" is true.
Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street.
Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart.
You just gotta poke around.

I thought that actual quote the other night was, "The East bank of The Emerald Canyon, is considered by many to be the Aspen of the Rocky River."

Which seems a little ridiculous, when the group from Phoenix had referred to the "Emerald Canyon as Northern Ohio's miniature Grand Canyon of the Eastern Mid-West."

Remember those Canadians last year? They sailed in from Windsor? "The were so happy to sail for 8 hours south just to find the southern beaches of Ohio's north-coast.
