I disagree with your use of the word "gang."

In today's world, gang means a criminal element comprised of a large number of youths and adults that control and terrorize a geographic area.

The word "gang" is used to instill fear and unease in neighborhoods.

Using your explanation, a group of kids walking home from school is a "gang."

Two adults perpetrating a criminal act of vandalism does not a gang make. And it makes little difference their age or hometown.

The symbol they painted is a political symbol, however, it's possible they don't even have a political motive; it could be simply to destroy property.

BTW, most anarchists are not violent.

...Anarchists and have been have with us since the 19th century. While they are not like the Crips or Bloods, this "vandalism" is their attack on our lifestyle and our city.

I think we're giving a couple of hoodlums way too much credit. I don't think true "fifth-columnists" employ much spray paint...

In our country and around the world, these groups have become more aggressive in their actions. This graffiti is not dissimilar to militant actions by the Neo Nazis, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) fringe groups within PETA, America's Invisible Empire, a Klan group, American Coalition of Life Activists an anti-abortion group, God Hates Fags an anti-gay group...

Is it just me, or is graffiti very different from "militant actions by the Neo Nazis..."?

Now this board is hopping.

The interesting thing about a lot of anarchists is that in order to thwart laws and the dictum's of society, they must first acknowledge those laws in order to move against them.

What worries me is that we're seeing some of this stuff here. Did you all know there is a white power group in Lakewood. I found that on the net, I tried to get an address of a phone number, but I was unsuccessful.

I don't believe that it is just enough to know the enemy, you need to know where they are.

When my daughter went to LHS, there was a swastika painted onto an interior wall. She was very upset because it was up well over a week and no one was doing anything about it.

I called the school and it was cleaned off that afternoon.

Here's my question. Why did it take a parent calling to make the effort to take it down?
