Ed,

We can talk about this now.

If your transition team needs someone to coordinate the Highland Avenue project with Michael Dever, and the rest of the new council, I'll be your point man.

Secure our border! Take back Highland Avenue for Lakewood in the first 100 days!

Let's not forget that we want the Highland Ave signs at least 22.5' inside of of Cleveland as repayment for the W117th street signs that are that far inside of Lakewood. Not that we have measured.

Also we should get some form of reparation from Cleveland. Perhaps three blocks of our choosing. Some thing like 85th and Madison, W105 and Lake, and Kamm's Korner. We could use these to set up beach heads er I mean embassies for future land grabs er green uses.

FWIW

We're only weeks away from a collaboration between Mayor Fitzgerald, Council President Dever, the rest of City Council, Lakewood Police, and the Rockport Militia, to finally end the decades long, expansionist policies of Cleveland, and take back Highland Avenue for the citizens of Lakewood. We're talking about history here.

I look forward to the day of new signage, and the Highland Avenue Parade. The parade will start near the Highland Square Station (RTA), and go north to Edgewater Drive. It will be a great kickoff to Busking Day in Lakewood with street performers, marching bands, the Mayor and Council in convertibles, and the S.W.A.T. pigeon.

Lakewood, City of Lights, the Paris of Cleveland's Inner Ring Suburbs, will be bordered by Highland Avenue (Rue de Highland, as it is called by the residents of Lakewood's sister city.) on the East, and by the Emerald Canyon (The Grand Canyon of the Rocky River Reservation.) on the West.

Proud to live in Lakewood, just to the left of the Center of the Universe.

I am sure it has been our recent trips documenting the lights, in Lakewood, the Paris of Cleveland's Inner Ring Suburbs. That made you forget, the parade was to form in the West lot of Sapells and travel North to the parking lot at Diane's.

At least Cleveland, the County and RTA understand Lakewood's rich history and street naming process.
Jim,

If they can put up THIS sign, we can certainly put up some of our own.

I say we start with people walking around with sandwich boards on each corner of Highland. One person will wear a board that says "Highland and Detroit", and so on. They'll hold cups for donations for the real signs.

PANHANDLERS FOR LAKEWOOD, the Paris of Cleveland's Inner Ring Suburbs!

Ed,

Are we past 100 days?

I've been waiting by the phone this whole time.
