You can do a search at the Board of Elections website when you put in your address.

Well, that was interesting! I'd never voted at an actual poll before. I voted via absentee all through college and in the last state I lived in, all the voting was done by mail in ballots... which was awesome.

Those Diebold Machines are very interesting.

Speaking of polling locations -- Since I voted absentee, does anybody have an idea about turn out so far this morning?

I am sure that the campaigns are scanning the voting lists at the polling locations to enhance their GOTV calls for this afternoon.

When Dad and I went to the polls around 8 am, turnout seemed to be extremely light at our precinct.

Harding wasnt packed but there was a steady stream of people in and out and the poll workers stated it had been steady all morning.

Pretty quiet at Grant around 10, but I figured it would be, which is why I went then.

I would expect the turnout to be low today. It's an off-year election without any major issues on the ballot and no national or state-wide candidates.

I went at 8:30 a.m. to Lakewood Methodist. Usually I go after work and wait in a L O N G line.....there was barely anybody there this morning. Maybe 5 voters.

Clearly this is a vital constitutional breach that has been lost in the midst of nonsense about accurate statistics, misrepresentations and pies in the face. We as Americans have the right to "bare" arms and other body parts, don't we?

I think there is a problem with absentee ballots. One of my friends mother and son both applied for absentee ballots and never got them. Savannah applied and didn't get hers so she voted provisionally today - she said the people really didn't know what to do with her.

Don and had no problem with our absentee ballots. Any other problems you have heard about?

I had originally planned to be in Wisconsin this week so I had requested an absentee ballot, but by the time I received it last week I was concerned that it would not be received in time if I were to put it in the mail.

Fortunately our plans changed and I was in town but because I had requested an absentee ballot I had to vote provisionally as well. Similar to your experience, the poll workers were a bit unfamiliar with the process; however, we got through it just fine so hopefully I paved the way for those needing provisional ballots later in the day. :-]
