Rhonda,

glad you could make it to the event, I was busy studying.

great photos, I hope your camera is treating you well!

I'm hoping to make it to the next debate so you can have a night off!

I'm still learning about this camera. It has so much more than my other camera does. I think it may take a while to get it to do what I want it to do.

Can't wait to see your library photos!

Keep studying!

Rhonda -- you might want to pick up the Magic Lantern guide for your camera. It will show you more than the manual ever will. I keep mine in my camera bag for quick reference!

You people do all these wonderful things with cameras and I just learned how to turn mine on and take a picture on auto - sigh.

Six month ago I gave my son money and told him to buy me a decent digital camera so I could start selling on Ebay again (after 6 years).

He buys me this darn thing that has about 160 functions! I just wanted to take a decent picture, not make a holly wood movie - why did he get me one that takes movies with sound - I should have known not to have my IT guy buy my camera for me.

Oh well, this is one way to teach an old dog new tricks I guess.

Sharon,
I'm an old dog too...and Ivor and David have been helping me to see things so..ooo.... differently that it inspired me to get a new camera..I think that it will take a little time for me to get used to it...and make it do the things I want to do with it. But for a girl who took photography classes in college a "little" while ago...it has been fun.

Taking pictures for the Observer has helped alot and also pushed me to look
at photography in a different way. It was been a great experience and I still have alot to learn...Thanks Ivor and David for the help!

I am blessed and honored to be part of the LO project. I've always said my biggest influences on my work are right here: Rhonda, Ivor, Jim, and Rami. I've learned so much from all of you, and your work makes me strive to be even better.

I am blessed to have you as peers, neighbors, friends.

For that, Thank You.
