As I was online looking for property info on, I stumbled on this:

This is, I believe, the Belle Avenue Parking Garage. On, which, apparently, no taxes have been paid since 2003, on which there is due over $22,000.
One might inquire why the City of Lakewood is listed as the owner (probably based on a lease) and
Carol Lester CCF-Armstrong Development, 5001 Rockside Rd, Suite 600, Independence, OH 44131 is listed as the person to whom tax bills are sent.
Sure hope the city garage isn't foreclosed for nonpayment of taxes for over four years..............

Are there any other City properties with unpaid taxes?
How can someone be 4 years behind on property taxes?
If you rented an apartment would you wait for rent to be overdue for FOUR YEARS before you took action?
If the County is not capable of collecting property taxes perhaps they should allow the City of Lakewood to act as their agent in the collection process. The fee charged by the City for this service would be the county's portion of the property taxes.
Our county government is disfunctional. Of course since the county also runs the City...
