a highlight for me from last week's LEAF were the hot peppers that Chef Jeff brought from his own garden and gave away for free at the barter table - jalepenos, Italian red peppers, and habaneros (super-hot, but still edible and delicious).

maybe next year there could be a home-grown hot pepper contest....
