17 to rent R movies I believe...

like jim said, it's not Lakewood's fault. And hey, I agree with you on the new staff point as well as the career job point.

We'll just have to wait and see what fills this store front up!!

What is the Rego deal? JOB you said it was going to house a Trader Joe which was extremely exciting but when my neighbor asked a manager at Trader Joes in Westlake he said they won't open one within 30 miles of an existing one and he knows of no plan!! Anyone know anything about this?

How bout we list any new business that opened in the last year in Lakewood? It seemed like a decent number!
Wasn't Beer Engine open in the last year? Souper Maarket, Dave's Cosmic Subs, the new Cereal Store coming, Lakewood Hardware, Who else?

Remember to support businesses Oct 5th on Madison to keep businesses open and hopefully throughout the year!!!!!

And the vintage/antique store across from the Beer Engine where Just Past Mars used to be. Tons of Roseville!

Another place I can't remember the name of (do we see a trend here) vintage clothes and strange things, on Detroit across from where Blue Moon used to be.

Blue Moon (where Phantasy is) has been closed for quite some time.

So what is the Rego deal? Is this the same Rego's that is in Kamm's Corners (which has a Corbo's bakery in it, a major plus in my opinion)? What about the rumors that the building will be a Gold's Gym?

I heard (JOB) that it was going to be a gold's gym upstairs and a Trader Joes downstairs. Any truth to this?

I heard Gold Gym and condos. I highly doubt a Trader Joe's. I hope it's the gym. The Y just didn't work out for me.

Trader Joe's would depend on whether Rego's (Giant Eagle) controls the parking next to Hixon's. While GE has the lease on the empty space, they won't be letting a competitor move in. But, I think the condos and Gold's is what is going to be happening.

that's just what we need...
more condos that won't sell.

I miss having the bavarian bakery in Lakewood, and now have to go by the west side market to get my german goods.

As far as bakery's are concerned, we still have the Elmwood Bakery which one of my favorite teachers family owns and operates. when it comes to shopping for baked goods here in Lakewood..

Eh I don't know if we need another gym. that seems like an odd spot for it too.

I'd love to see a movie theater be built there or have them do something with the other two in town. That's the only thing I leave town for really..

I would file some of this udner rumor, though it did comes from a Trader Joe's exec at Crocker Park, that ther area was being looked at and the fact that Trader Joe's has a history of moving in with Gold's Gym.

I am not really at liberty to speak openly on any of this!

I hope I caused no confusion, or trouble for the developers.
