Ward 3 candidate night

Post by Mary Breiner »

So where and what time will this be held on the 11th? Is it confirmed at the Bella Dubby? Is that a big enough venue? Please advise.
Thanks, Mary Breiner

So, why don't we have it at Sullivans? I am happy to contact them and make sure they are good with it.

I contacted Sullivan's earlier, they should get back to me tonight to confirm. I will update when I hear, the initial thought from the person I talked to said it shouldn't be a problem.

So for right now it's sounds like a go.

We're on for Sullivans.

Colleen, I didn't know you had contacted them and asked one of my friends who knows Pat to contact him for us. My friend just called and said he talked to Pat and they are happy to host.

So, we'll see everyone on Sept 11th at 7:30!

I absolutely LOVE this thread. The candidates organize, cooperate, work together for the common good...

Wowie...

I kinda wish I lived in Ward 3...

How well do you all sing "Kumbayah?"

Absolutely agree Gary.

Thanks to all the candidates for being so cooperative and open to the idea and really working well together to get all this organized so quickly. And thanks to the LO for the Deck which allowed this exchange to happen so easily.

This is how politics should always be. :)

I am strongly confident that whoever wins, Ward 3 will be well represented.

Thanks for the kudos. I look forward to putting faces with names and posts.

(And actually, I sing kumbayah relatively well - takes me back to my days at camp. :D )

It was nice to meet you all and I agree with Bryan, we will be well represented in Ward 3 regardless who wins. All good energy in that room last night!! Good luck to you all!

I agree! It was really great to put faces with names and meet other ward 3 residents.

Great idea Brian!

To echo a sentiment - thanks for the drink Mike. And thanks to Colleen, Mike and Joe. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit with us. Thanks to Sullivans for graciously hosting the event.

Ward 3 rocks!!
