Every time I see anyone saying something positive about the 'Wood, on the Deck, it's a nice thing.
Too bad only bad news "sells" for most of the TV viewing public, and just about all BUT the LO, as far as newsprint goes in the entire country.

At the PTA meeting this afternoon at Roosevelt Elementary, we had more people attend than I've ever seen! It was really great to see so many parents interested in what's going on at their child's school.
On a separate note, my son has been walking home from Garfield - not a short distance. It is so nice to know that he can safely walk home through his town and enjoy some independence.
A couple of my neighbors have been nice enough to give him a lift to and from school the past couple of days. That's been nice too since he carries his trumpet (and it can get heavy!)
