That's funny, I don't feel any different.

This Friday?

did I miss something?
Waking up today and having nothing happen, was like discovering the truth behind Santa Claus... :D
Stephen

Yes it was this friday, but will be put off a week.

Sorry, legalities!

One thing that has happened is The Lakewood Observer, Inc. advisory board now owns the Lakewood Observer. This does not inculde Ken Warren who did not take a share as he feared conflict of interest.

This would be a step to make the LO a true community owned paper. What this means for Lakewood will be laid out in the coming weeks. What I like about this is the Advisory Board has only agreed a handful of times in four years!

For the real life changing part hopefully next Friday.

.
I hope that nothing is going to happen to the LO (like the NY times bought you guys  ).. The LO is a community asset that adds value to the city of Lakewood.. I think that having this open forum helps keep Lakewood moving in the right direction.. We are very fortunate as citizens of Lakewood to have to LO in print and on the world wide web. Thanks!

Ivor,

is that non-sequitor a clue???

perhaps the big news is lakewoodbuzz.com & Lakewood Observer merging??

I guess we'll have to wait a week to find out what's going on....

Lord I hope not. Haven't heard many good things about that site. Starting with people don't have to use their real names and can hide, people are edited so it is biased, and someone personally profits from it, including some of our tax money.
The LO site is nothing like that site. I don't even know anyone who goes there and many never heard of it. They are not out doing good for the community as volunteers.

John

highly doubt it.

one group(web, print, tv) gives everything back to the community with no censorship or editing.

The other...

peace

I just heard that scientists have discovered that the virus killing the honeybees is Australian in origin and that Israeli honeybees are immune to it.

That may mean there's good news on the way.

Hah, after posting the photo I thought about how people will think it's some kind of clue.

Nothing at all to do with buzzing or bumble bees.

whoever mentioned new york is somewhat on track. :?

Here's the skinny on the big announcement:

Jim and I hired 10 graffiti artists to go around town and paint murals of the Cleveland skyline, as well as a tupac shakur/biggie smalls (yes, the NOTORIOUS B.I.G) memorial painting.

muwahahahaa.
