Library gurus: Reservation question
I would post this under the Library section but it appears that section of the 'Deck is about announcements and no discussion. So when should I give up on a book (or books, in my case) on the reserved list? I had one book on there for nearly 2 months (and was considered #1 in queue, according to the OPAC system) and finally just went and bought it and took it off Hold. I have 2 more on there that I eventually want to read and are noted as "available" in the system, yet I am again at head of queue waiting. When do books get replaced or taken out of the system if they are lost or stolen? Just curious what folks thought on this before I headed to Rocky River library for the books (as I know they have them but want to keep with the home team, if possible!
).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Library gurus: Reservation question
Several of our collections i.e. back titles of adult science fiction, juvenile fiction and non-fiction, are still in storage at OMNI. Library patrons may call the library and request information about titles they have on hold.
We will make every attempt to get the books needed by our patrons. Thank you you your patience.
Mr. Florian, please call me at your convenience and we will discuss the titles in question.

Library gurus: Reservation question
I appreciate your suggestion and again apologize for delays in acquiring reserved materials. The time and expense to perform this bibliographic work would be considerable. We expect to have the entire collection available the beginning of the year.
Again, patrons may call the library to discuss any concerns they might have about their materials requests.
Thank you.

Re: Library gurus: Reservation question
Thanks Kim, wasn't sure how easy that would be. Glad to know everything should be available in the next few months...Kim Senft Paras wrote:I appreciate your suggestion and again apologize for delays in acquiring reserved materials.
