Computer Geek Needed to fix my machines

Post by Mark Crnolatas »

I called Geek Squad at Best Buys to fix my computer, which I didn't buy from them. According to everyone I talked to, I overpaid for what I recently bought by a factor of 2 or almost 3x, so, here is what I am in need of:

Someone who is a geek enough with computers to fix my new computer so it'll browse and get to the websites, all of them. The DSL is fine, since I have a machine that I paid 5 dollars for, and it will go to any website, but I need my "new" machine to work right. Also to network 2 machines and have a virtual desktop so I can use one monitor/keys/mouse for 2 machine access.

The Geek Squad goes on a flat rate, no matter what, and guarantees the work for 30 days. If someone can match what they charge, and do it before tuesday noon, I'd rather keep the business in our city. I don't like "out-sourcing".

If anyone on the Deck or someone you know can do it at my location, let me know. Thanks

Go talk with Burt Tardy at his shop across from the Detroit Theater. Hall & Detroit.

You'll also dig the tunes.

I've had good luck with Delta Computer up on Madison near Mars Ave.

I had to bring it in to them.

You can't go wrong with Delta. They really work with your schedule to get the job done in a timely manner. You do have to bring the PC to the shop--no house calls.
