As a youth leader, I've somewhat had to deal with the same situation...of course it pales in comparison I'm sure what you had to deal with teaching. As a teacher, I've had to deal with everyone who walked into my classroom as well. I've even lost a few students over the years to the world of drugs.
But you're definitely right, drugs are a problem and certainly not a new one. They're not limited by race, class, job, etc. It's a problem we all need to deal with .
Absolutely agree again. Civil discussion is absolutely critical to moving Lakewood forward. There is alot of passion in this place, we need to harness our differences respectfully and flesh out the best ideas. We need to be open to the views of others and do the best for our neighbors and Lakewood as we can.But so is respectful civil interaction.
And by the way, some of you will need to check your spelling, punctuation and grammar. I could probably find my correcting pen, if I had to do so.
