A Big Round of Applause

Post by Heidi Hilty »

It is my pleasure to announce that the Publisher and Editor of the Lakewood Observer print edition have convinced Dan Slife to join our ranks as the co-Managing Editor.

Dan brings energy, enthusiasm, intelligence, commitment, and a unique urban perspective from which we will all benefit. We are so fortunate to have someone of Dan's character and ability at our helm.

Please join me in congratulating Dan on his new responsibilities.

Hey "Bulldog" Congrats! Everyone knows that Heidi has been working at a super human level as our editor so having someone with your skills and energy will benefit all of us "in the pits" and ultimately the people we write for---our Lakewood neighbors!

I appreciate your kind words.

Stan is correct, Heidi has worked very hard to keep this project rolling forward for the last three years, she deserves a round of applause.

I'm proud to serve the Lakewood Observer project as co-managing editor at such a critical time in Lakewood's history.

Dan

You are the perfect person at the perfect time for this.

We have walked the streets together many times.

You understand the project and the importance of the project.

You understand the need for openness, and info.

Thank you so much, for stepping in and stepping up.

Heidi what can be said that I haven't said or forgot to say!

You my dear are gold to this project and my life.

You will suit your new position well at this exciting time in the Lakewood Observer history/future.

Let's rock.

Mr. Slife:

Many thanks for stepping up to do a thankless job. We're all volunteers here, and that's what makes this experiment so interesting and gratifying. But, just remember, that spell check will usually screw up a great many culinary terms.....

Dan--I know you will do a great job. It's amazing how many people love this town--and put their money and time where their mouth is. You are certainly in that group.
