New Graffiti

Post by Justine Cooper »

Kathy from Goddess Blessed just called as she was walking to work this morning. She said at the Northland Plaza "Kill the cops" is written on a garbage dumpster and was there Tuesday as well. This is something that should be immediately removed before kids see it. She tried to call city hall but got voice mails and doesn't know who directly to call. Any suggestions?

That is horrible... graffiti in itself is a nuisance, but even worse when giving such a negative message. I as well am curious if there is a specific number to report such vandalism?

The non-emergency number is 521.6773.

Ya,

First try calling the office of community relations (216) 529-6650. If you get voice mail, try the mayor (216) 529-6600. If you get voice mail there call Lakewood PD directly (216) 521-6773. Report the graffiti to them. Tell them what the graffiti says, it's been there two days and all you're getting is voice mail from city hall to clean it up. I bet you it will be gone by noon. I don't think the police will take to kindly to that painted where everyone can see.
