Warren Road and Heavy Truck Traffic

I'm not sure how many people live on Warren Rd or the quiet little streets adjacent to Warren Rd between I-90 and Madison Ave or Detroit that post on the Deck, but the 18 wheeler situation, along with growing gridlock is becoming dastardly.

We who live in the area all know the property taxes and the powers to be that determine those taxes should take this mess into consideration.

Crossing Warren becomes a game of Roller Ball/Dodge ball and you better be agile, fast and ready to run. I feel for the elderly.

I offer the challenge for the Mayor and those seeking to run for Mayor, and City Council to take turns parking in our drive, and backing out, at 4-7 pm weekdays, and even on saturdays. More so walking across the street to where you have to park since parking is only on the west side of the street.

Getting out of your driveway if you live on Warren requires a bag lunch at times, while your waiting for a break in traffic.

If you leave a glass of water out in your house during the morning or evening hours, it tastes like diesel exhaust smells, literally. Yuk.

Lakewood needs another route to divide up all these largetrucks and the the huge amounts of traffic entering and leaving the city.

What that would be I don't know especially at 327am as I post this but it's really getting out of hand.

Anyone else experiencing this?
