Lakewood law info

Post by Joe Ott »

I was just on Ryan Demro's site. I noticed he says:

Wrote a chronic nuisance law that was passed UNANIMOUSLY by City Council that is designed to quiet neighborhoods of repeated disruption such as barking dogs, loud parties, fighting, and other nuisances.

and

Revised and passed a version of the city trash law designed to prevent citizens from repeatedly leaving trash on their treelawns for days on end.

Are these laws and/or ordinances online somewhere to view? Or do you need to go to City Hall to get info.

This is *NOT* a thread about Demro! I am just curious about getting more info on the above two items and wondered if somebody here knows.

Thanks,
Joe

I don't have time to search for the exact items you list, but the codified ordinances for the city are online here:
http://www.lkwdpl.org/city/code/toc.htm

Have you checked there?

All these laws are nice, and I do not mean to take anything away from the ones in which Councilman Demro was involved. However, the problem is enforcement.

Just to clarify... I am by no means a demro supporter - right now there isn't anybody to support... I happened upon the site via other sites. His mention of the noise laws made me wonder about the gist of those laws and simply wondered were I could read them. That's all.

Joe,

I am just wondering what you meant by, "...there isn't anybody to support right now..."

That could be interpreted in a number of ways.

I do not see anybody yet I want to support. That's all.
