20001 Posts - Doug Wins a LO hoodie!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Tonight we recorded our 20,001 post.

The poster was Doug Huntingdon.

Congratulations, you win one of the rare LO Hoodies.

If you call ahead maybe we can take you to La Pita Express or The Place to Be with Kenneth Warren and/or DL Meckes.

DL Meckes, thanks for making this possible, you do a great job.

Much love and thanks.

Doug-- Congratulations! Whatever your number was I've enjoyed and benefited from reading your posts.

These last 4 weeks I have been a LO hoody wearer. It's great!

Just don't spill stuff on it when you go eat lunch!

Doug-

I'm sure you'll enjoy the hoodie. It's almost too warm for me to wear while shoveling!

20,000 articles is a milestone. Two years ago we were kicking the Deck project around, trying to make it work and within three months we had to move it to a different server because it was already outgrowing its first "home." The Deck was the first part of the Observer project that came online.

I thank you for your participation and always look forward to your posts.

I thank everyone who has shared ideas, helped to provide a critical eye, or posted information. It has been my hope that real life connections could be made through the Deck and I have been gratified to see it happen.

I hope it is just the beginning.
