Holiday Images

As I build my monthly photo blog of images, available through the front page gallery section, I thought some images should be shared now.

You have a chance to win one of three ipods, but starting and adding to a photoblog. So if you have a digital camera, get busy. If you get one for Christmas, use it to win a second gift!

A small group stop by during Holiday shopping. Through out the demonstrations people would stop watch, go shop and stop back to see the progress. I have to think well over a couple hundred people spent time there twhile enjoying the day.

The Lakewood Observer is asking for people to send in photos of their holiday visions, and decorations. They will be judge on theme, spirit, and execution. A special award for best use of one strand of lights.

no, by definition that would be more than one.

Another award for best capture of holiday spirit from a camera phone.

Both catagories get special awards.

if i only had my camera


the other night i had a bad bad dream and i woke up screaming. I dreamt that I finally got my camera back from being fixed, and I went to press the button to take a picture, and it broke into a million pieces! :shock:

I too used to have a dream that I always took the photo too early.

As I was stumbling through Lakewood Park last night after the lightening ceremonies. I was slipping and juking through the grassy area and suddenly on the back of the camera appeared an image I hadn't seen in decades.

A couple city workers came by asking how I was, and I shared the image with them and we all thought back to the 70s.

If you have tried to take photos of Christmas lights I am sure you know how hard it can be. So why not got the other way.

I encourage all with digital cameras, have fun with them and post the image.
