Lakewood Rangers square off against Westlake in Finals
Good luck to the Lakewood Boys Soccer team as they face Westlake in the District Finals tonight, 7PM at Lakewood Stadium. It will be a great game, Lakewood beat Westlake during the regular season 1-0 with 4 starters unable to play. Now with a full lineup and determination, we expect the Rangers to come out on top once again and win the District championship.
Good Luck Rangers!

It was a terrific game and both teams played and won/lost with class. Next up for the Rangers is a regional tournament game in Huron on Halloween. They'll meet the winner of the Sylvania District championship game to be played Saturday.
It was really great to see all of the students & parents & yes, the Band, out cheering our boys on!

Forgot to mention that near the end of the 2nd half, the game was distracted by a male streaker running the eastern length of the playing field, south to north. Fortunately, most people (including the kids) were fixated on the game in the SW corner and didn't take note.
A few folks swore it was Jim O'Bryan, but I checked and it looks like he placed a post on the Deck around the same time. I think other suspects need to be considered.
