Vote for Judges

Post by Lynn Farris »

I think I have posted this before - but a good web site for people like me that struggle to vote for judges is:

http://www.judge4yourself.com/ratings_2006_general.html

I don't always accept their recommendations - but it is the best site I know to help you make a decision about judges.

Thank you for posting that ... voting for judges is always difficult because of the sheer number of them, and too often, it does fall back to votes selecting a familiar-sounding name (like Russo, Corrigan, etc.) which may not always be the best course.

Thanks Lynn! Great resource! I think it may have changed some of my votes.

I'm voting absentee, so I have time to research the candidates, and will not have to make any snap decisions for judges like I sometimes do in the booth. This helps a lot.

Isn't this absentee ballot great? We were able to review in detail the issues and pulled up judges where the review was close and discuss them. I normally made a cheat sheet to take with me to the polls, but this was much nicer. Hopefully it won't overwhelm the BOE. I mailed ours today - so they would be in early. Don't know if it will help.

Lynn--- I'm going to continue to vote in person on election day if for no other reason than to personally experience the situation. I still think it is important for a real time voting and its monitoring so long as it is in place.

And, where else are you going to get that great bakery if not at the schools and churches! :D
