Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Jay would be the best one to speak on this subject.
However I believe that most of us knew when they started rebuilding the schools that there would be two more levies on the ballot. One is the levy to finish the schools the other is the operating levy.
I am not familiar with if these are continuations of old levies, or new levies.
The fact remains, both have to be passed.

I am sure that it will come as a complete surprise to you that I disagree. Keep your powder dry.

Maybe now is the time to try the roll back of some property tax and do a joint income tax proposal. That way the city gets some more money for its streets and the citizens get some property tax relief and the schools get the operating money they need.
And with a roll back in property tax, passing a bond issue for the schools is a little easier to do.

Why I love you man.
Pray tell. How does not finishing the schools help anything?
I do think, as this goes on that maybe it was not as thought out as it could be. But now we are here, and I see no way to get out without finishing the dance.
I am all ears, er eyes.
