Venizia: Lakewood on the Cusp of Heaven?

On my way back from Dollar Tree, where vegetable seeds are 10 for a buck, I noticed that Venizia (not sure if the spelling is correct) is setting up shop in the old Chat Room location, with the promise of gourmet NYC style pizza, gelato and a NYC chef.

Does anybody know anything more about this restaurant? Oven specs?

Are the owners actually Italians from NYC, or even better Brooklyn?

I never thought of NYC style pizza as gourmet. If properly prepared with the correct ingredients no gourmet foo-foo is required.

But I'd pay $3 bucks for a slice of heaven in the Wood on a Saturday night around ten p.m.

I noticed that also the other day as I was driving down Detroit. I'd also be interested if anyone has any other info. I always love a good restaurant.
