DL

Great work.

Let's not forget that the website was started months before we went public.

Keep up the great work.

I think 300,496 of those hits were from Terry Batdorf!

Those hits are inclusive of the Observation Deck, the "Front Page" and the article submission area.

Some of the 10,000+ articles include articles that were submitted for publication in the Observer, rather than exclusively posts on the Deck.

We had 96 people sign on to the project before we moved to the "big" server, but that transfer was completed on May 25th (my mother's birthday).

Even so, this little project has had legs.

I don't need any thanks; everyone who contributes in one way or another to the Observer deserves thanks.

dl:

I know you don't need thanks. That's why saying thanks is such pleasure.

Your dedication to the project and the board presents a particular quality and strength.

To my sense of civic evolution you are the exalted mother of the LO deck.

I see it and salute you!

Happy Mother's Day.

Ken-

Thanks for the kind words, I've been called a mother on more than one occasion, but perhaps not with such kindness.
