The Shell station at Madison & Warren is no more!

Soon we'll see the new location for Sherwin Williams!

I noticed that and I do have to say "BOOOO!"

but then again it does make sense that it's gone because their gas was 10-15 cents higher in price than the BP station across the street.

Most of the work they did at that station was car repair. We'll miss all the weekend car washes by kids raising money for their various groups, but perhaps another station owner will step up.

I think the move will be good for Sherwin Williams, although I'm not looking forward as excitedly to the Walgreens that will come to the southwest corner. Losing the Warren Road Tavern will put a damper on our enjoyment of the area...
