Sad but true - Does anyone else think" outside the box ?" or do you-all think some "POS" Dem or Rep is better than anyone in the opposite party ? ie He/She is one of US , so automatically he/she has my vote - now and forever .
Summary : IMO Incumbent having had 9+ years to demonstrate what he can do for me/us/Dist10 is a LOSER - and only options are to look for better , harder working , local on site , dedicated to Dist 10 candidates and then let them have at it for my vote come Nov . But before Nov is the May 2 Primary were the incumbent and B.A. Ferris are running for the Dem nomination and obviously you should know who I am voting for .

Mr. Kampe.
Forgive me for taking a grown-up, non-personal view of the politcal world.
I would like to see Rep. Kucinich replaced by a solid Republican who reflects my views better than he does, but I'm enough of a political realist to know that's not in the cards. Credible Republcans won't waste their time and effort on a safe seat, and the party has tougher, more important races to consume their time and money.
Obviously, you have either a personal animus to Rep. Kucinich or an intense personal commitment to Ms. Ferris. That's your absolute right to pursue his defeat. I just think you're flogging the wrong case against him, that he doesn't bring home enough pork-barrel projects.
Also, your attitude that "Kucinich is so bad, anyone would be better." You have barely said a single word in favor of your candidate. She is a largely unknown and certainly unproven entity, and you've done vituually nothingn to advance HER case, in your zeal to put down Rep. Kucinich. In my mind, Ms. Ferris is a random name from the phone book, and you've not helped that situation in the least.
You're betting the ranch that everyone in the district is as incensed as you that Dennis hasn't proviided any pork to OH10. As a Republican, I can tell you that's the best argument for KEEPING the guy. And if given the choice between an inexperienced Democratic candidate and an inexperienced Republican one, I'm going with the latter. So there is virtutally no scenario where I would vote for your candidate.
And Democrats in the real world are not going to vote out an incumbent in a safe seat when there's a real possibiliity they could make significant gains in the House. That's"Mr Smith Goes To Washington.:" That's not the real, grown-up world of politics.
So if you're making Ms. Ferris' case to me, you lose. If you're making it to the loyal Democrats of OH10, you lose.
Sorry, but "lost cause" and "certain defeat" aren't most people's definition of "thinking outside the box."
