Sharon - re your 4/14 11:52 am post

You too are welcome to your opinion(s) but you like most on this site confuse opinions with facts and you add a third entity - belief .

Also you claim you apparently speak for a group with "WE don't like "

re Your opinion of harm is supported by Ferris ? supported by your group ? and your group consists of you and x others where x = 0 , 1 , 2 , etc ?

"Do you get it yet " means in your language "Do as Sharon says" not what Kampe believes ? Sorry Not my Style and Thanks But No thanks and No Way

re " your Amount of work WE PUT IN " who is WE ? You ? Ferris ? your group ? - Better call Ferris on me again as per your past recent actions "on her behalf"

re your " Achilles Heel " see Gordon Quote - "Free Political Speech is the Centerpiece of our Democracy" and his bosses resultant and continuing INACTION ! Guess the djk run and hide approach is winning out over the Gordon's view ?

"Sorry" Mother / teachers etc told me - "Mold Broken" when I was born ( likely others told same thing ) So I don't have the foggiest idea who you mis IDed me for - Hopefully not the other djk ! that would be too low !

Actually that was a email to me last night. Though I did see her Monday.

My entire post was made as my opinion and my beliefs (splitting hairs again I see) and very little was presented as fact other than:

(1) my experience working for her campaign (a fact)

and (2) the fact that your posts have caused damage (I can state I know of at least six people that will not vote for her as a direct result of your postings - loss of votes typically equals damage; however, if you do not believe a loss of votes is damage then I concede that point to you)

Also you claim you apparently speak for a group with "WE don't like "

If you read the preceding paragraph I adequately qualified my use of the pronoun 'we' by stating
and I believe MANY others
. I do not state that i have been elected to speak for others, only that I believe that my statements would represent others views. This belief (recall I originally held that the post was purely of my own opinions and beliefs) was founded on numerous conversations with people I know on both sides of the political fence - many of whom post on this site.

My statement
Do you get it yet
is not any indication that I think you should change your views of Kucinich - or your posting style for that matter - but an inquiry as to whether or not you understand WHY people are objecting to you. I try (sometimes successfully and sometimes not) to say exactly what I mean so your reference to "my language" is misleading in that it insinuates that I am trying to imply something.

I could assure you I am not; however, I doubt my assurances mean anything to you or anyone else here - so there is little point in that.

I happen to agree that political debate is ta cornerstone of a good democracy; however, when the debate is no longer political, but personal, democracy looses.

Wait wait - let me restate that:

I BELIEVE when the debate is no longer political, but personal, democracy looses.

I wouldn't want you confusing my opinions with a statement of facts!!

Have a great weekend Observers-All ( even you my Kucinich hating friend!) - we are off for the holiday.

Peace and Blessing to all,

I think this is where the little letters after the name really let us all down. As a favor to Barbara Anne Ferris I will skip the rest of the email. But how on earth can you not believe this letter?! I have photos taken with a 50mm lens of Barbara Anne Ferris at the meeting which I was the chosen photographer that day. Then I get emails very often from Barbara Anne Ferris and she mentions seeing me. Now I realize that Barbara Anne Ferris has chosen Parma for her office and not Lakewood, but the seeing from Parma?

I would hope that the good doctor would notice no slams against Barbara Anne Ferris, generally try to use her real name with Caps where appropriate. Grandma taught me about the respect thing.

Your post was read by me - Kampe - as

You : JOB saw me ( Kampe ) in the back of the Lakewood Dist 10 Office .

My response was - Good eyes - Not There - Not me

Now you and your "buddies" indicate my reading of your post was meant to indicate JOB saw Ferris at Lakewood Office or something to that effect . Sorry I may be fat ugly and old but any resemblance to the other djk or BAF is purely coincidental (including 35 mm film / 50 mm lens or resulting 8x10 glossies from the Mon meeting )

PS Site Spell Check not working for me on today's posts . Maybe me maybe LO but from my viewpoint - no digestion - ie sits "forever" (Preview okay)

You tend to overstate so much. "Buddies"?

What I had sent was a note from Barbara Anne Ferris to me that said,

"In my overloaded campaign schedule this week - I actually meant to send you a note to ask you about the substance of Mr. K's Monday meeting on pre-K education - I saw you standing in the back.
I really wanted to stay for the whole thing to hear the details (just because I'm a policy junkie), but had made a commitment to a group of Vets that I absolutely could not and would not break."

This was not me(Jim O'Bryan), seeing you. It was Barbara Anne Ferris seeing me in the back taking pictures. The only reason I posted it was that to blame Congressman Kucinich for not canceling the Vet meeting which had been schedule for some time to go to the City Club debate, seems odd. As Barbara Anne Ferris, would also not turn her back on a meeting with Vets.

Let's be honest the hardest thing for a candidate to get is a debate from an incumbent. So the newbie must work extra hard to make her platform known to the masses. That said the only thing I have heard from the Barbara Anne Ferris camp is what have you done for me lately. not a very strong platform.

That said, you and I differ from that point on. It would seem that you believe our congressmen should bring home the bacon. I believe they should act responsibly, and keep an eye out for us. While I could come up with my list, it was not good enough for you. But again, not as a slur by as a statement of fact 39 less trains a day cutting Lakewood in half is a big deal.

However I can see your point, I just do not agree with it. In an effort to find you answers I emailed Doug Gordon, for a list and a comment. I would think most people would be very happy with the Congressman head guy dropping in for the discussion, but again this was not good enough. What really pains me is that Dennis has always been here for the community. The one single time not, 47, was a nightmare for everyone involved. I really cannot blame him for not jumping in. We had local politicians, city politicians not jumping in. It was very tough, numbers not adding up, plans changing week to week, it was a nightmare for all.

I hear what you are saying, but I am just not getting why the steady drum beat and the constant, no my question was, no do not ask me ask her, no it was not me...

This has become a fools game, and I am just to tired and too busy to continue to play.

My stepfather was wrong about a bunch of stuff, but he grew, he read, and he accepted the facts that have trickled out. What I think disappoints me most is that you, a soldier would back people and groups that use you in illegal ways. there is nothing finer than serving this country in the military. But when some pervert their power and out our soldiers in peril for the wealth of a few it makes me sick.

Did you read the excerpts from "The Trial of Henry Kissinger" it was written by a conservative that was on TV night after night backing our war with Iraq. To be honest I backed the war on Iraq for practical reasons. It would have had to be fought sooner or later. Radical Muslims, and Sadaam have no room for us in their plans.

What bothered me was the trumped up "facts" and that he would dare send soldiers to fight a war without enough equipment. That is insane. If a person is willing to put their life on the line for the country, the least we can do is give them whatever they need to accomplish their job. Wouldn't you agree?

Even if you disagree with me about Vietnam, you have to admit that the powers to be never gave US soldiers a chance to win that war.

At that point one would have to ask why. And every time it comes back to $$$$ and power.

If you served, I am forever thankful. I am also sorry we did not give you everything needed to win that war.

Also just curious why you think my Stepfather was wrong. Henry Kissinger convicted of War Crimes, that should tell you something.

Hey Terry

I don't do cakes.

Just got done smoking some pheasant over applewood though and man, do they smell great! Going to finish them with an aprocot glaze over a quick grill, probably serve them wih wild rice and shiitake mushrooms. They'll go great with a nice Merlot, or maybe a young Zin. I think cake would be too heavy as a dessert, doncha think? Probably better off with some fresh berries, maybe a sorbet....Mango?

Two things.

1) I would think that Doug has more to do than battle with you. But i am sure he will get back.

2) Do you not think your threats against President Bush would not go unnoticed?

I make no threats to anyone. Especially toward President Bush. I love and support the man and his policies fully. Nice try Jim.
