DONATE YOUR JUNK TO A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT WORKSHOP

Post by Matthew Charboneau »

All,

I am coordinating a homemade musical instrument workshop for the Lakewood Public Library's spring 2006 program schedule. The workshop will show participants how to make musical instruments out of junk, recycled materials, old tools and other household items.

As such, if anyone has any used or junk materials that they would like to donate to the workshop it would be greatly appreciated. Useful materials include: old buckets, old metal chip or cookie tins, old tools such as used circular or reciprocal saw blades, old guitar parts or used strings, washtubs, cigar boxes, pieces of wood, dried gourds, etc.

If you have any of these items, please feel free to contact me at 216-226-8275 ext 127 or e mail at mcharboneau@lkwdpl.org. I will be more than happy to pick up or collect the items from you, no need to lug them into the library.

Also if this program interests you, please sign up for it by calling the same number listed above. Details can be found on the library website www.lkwdpl.org

Yours in junk,

Matthew Charboneau
