Past president of the Lakewood Board of Education, and Sargent with the Lakewood Police, Ed Favre has been appointed the new Assistant to Mayor Tom George.
It is our understanding that Ed was brought in to help implement many of the recommendations of Grow Lakewood, which Ed was part of.
I personally see this as a very good move by the administration.

Great! I'm sure Ed will do a great job! And he is a Lakewood resident!!!
But I have a question. Did we lose an assistant to the Mayor and if so who?
Will this bring us down a position on the police force and will we replace that position, or will we run one person short?
