Save Hey Arnold

For those of you who are up at 6am, try putting your Cox cable on Nicktoons, and watch "Hey Arnold". It IS a cartoon format, but so was the Flintstones. The difference this Hey Arnold is less comedy and more message. It's great for the young ones, as it's always a positive message. The writing and storylines are as strong as MASH, where you get to know the characters and motivations of each one. The backstory is they all live in a less than affluent area of NYC, but come from different backrounds, and diverse cultures. There is one girl that is from an affluent family, the rest are of varying backrounds.

The storyline has running gags that go in each episode, and all the components of a well produced TV show, of which we have next to nothing in my opinion, of this caliber of wholesomeness.

Many a episode will move you, from laughing to wiping the mist from the eyes. Extremely well written and I cannot say enough.

Nickalodeon owns it, and may take it off the air, since it's on a undetermined length hiatus. What is on now, are all repeats. Since I'm a new daddy again, its all new to me.

If you like what you see, or are already familiar with it, it would help our kids and our kid's kids. It would help US too, us so called grown-ups : ).
