Issue 9 in .PDF on the front page now!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

ALL

Issue 9 has been loaded in the .pdf library section on the front page. It is available for all now.

The printed version will hit the streets tomorrow.

Still looking for more delivery help. Currently we are able to put 12,000 papers on the streets in 4 hours! Now we need more so that we can shrink some of the routes, and cover areas we are currently missing. If you are a walker, runner, looking for a way to get exercise, meet neighbors or just get out of the house. Drop me an email at: jimob@lakewoodobserver.com and tell me what route you want.

Dan Policard, Steve Davis and Dan Slife are working on logistics.

NEWSPAPER BAGS IN
The Lakewood Observer Newspaper bags are in, but going fast. Bags are distributed to those that need them most. The bags feature the masthead of the Observer on one side, and our original logo which glows in the dark on the other side.

WRITERS NEEDED
The Lakewood Observer is ALWAYS looking for new writers to join the group. You can write what you want, as long as it has an impact on Lakewoodites, or we can assign fun stories. We have people to help if you have not written before.

EDITORS NEEDED
We are always looking for people to help share the load of editing. Heidi Hilty used to go through 50 stories in one day in an effort to make sure everyone that wrote looked good by the time it made it to the hard copy. Now we have more, but it is always nice to have more. It is a simple as reading and correcting one story every two weeks.

SUPPORT OUR ADVERTISERS
This whole project would be dead in the waters without our advertisers. All we ask is that you give them a fair shot. AS the Lakewood Observer moves into new areas by the end of the year, we will need more advertisers to help pick up some of the expenses, so lets help them and let them know, you shop there because they support the residents and Lakewood's only newspaper and finest website.

Deadline for issue 10 is this Friday!

Thanks to all,

.
