I am a fifth yr student at the Cleveland Inst. Of Art majoring in Interior Design. My thesis project will take place in Lakewood and I need your help. I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer these questions. Feel free to email me your response to sav2006@yahoo.com. Thank you very much.

If not: Where are you from? Did you ever live in Lakewood, what was your reason for leaving?

3. Did you ever think about leaving? Why?

4. Are you proud to be Lakewood Resident? Why or Why not?

5. WhatÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s your favorite thing about Lakewood? What Are other Assets?

6. What is LakewoodÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Greatest Weakness? What you wish was different about Lakewood? Is there something that you feel Lakewood is lacking?

Do not get discouraged. Just because 73 people have read you post and no one has had the time to answer the very simple questions does not mean they will not at some time.

I guess it just means they are not ready to share their memories, dreams and hope for Lakewood in public!

Savannah, when the LO's Eye Open Anthropological pod hits the streets next, (aiming at Saturday, September 10,) I hope you'll join us.

We've learned in our two forays that its easier to elicit responses if they are anonymous. Also, next time out, we'll team up and my guess is that it will be easier to gain responses in pairs.

If you want any more input about the mode of approach, feel free to PM me.

is the main question of the pod's inquiry. Perhaps DL would "sticky-fi" your topic here with a more direct title, (such as: LAKEWOOD QUESTIONNAIRE) and it would -no doubt- attract a higher response rate.

I really encourage you to drop Stephen Calhoun an email and join him and the Observer in our polling of the city. It is very interesting and invigorating going out into Lakewood and asking questions. Everyone I have spoken with is excited that someone is bothering to ask, when they find out you are an Observer, the love really begins to flow.

Lakewood is a special city, eager to tell its story and build a stronger sense of community.

Thanks everyone, I have gotten quite a few responses via email. My top three thesis topics are due Friday and I'll let you know what I decide!! Last minute entries to the questionnaire are always welcome!!
