Looking for Space for Weekly Dance Class

Post by Ruthie Koenigsmark »

Hi, LO Enthusiasts!

Helping someone(from the East Side) find a space to hold a weekly dance class here in Lakewood on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. The space would need mirrors, good floor, etc. Anyone have any ideas for me???

Regards,
Ruthie K.

Ruthie---right off hand there's the studio on Madison, south side between Lakeland and Morrison. Give or take a block. That's a real dance studio. But I also thought that any of the martial arts studios on Madison and Detroit might fit the bill.
Good Luck

Ruthie

Might have space in my building, depending on square footage needed.

Hi Ruthie, There is a dance room location for you as Jim and I are ball room dancers and looked for a room last spring to practice in. Lakewood High has a dance room. There is also a business on Detroit near West End that has a room in the back of their establishment. At this time, I cannot recall the name but it was a tanning business. Call Kathy Berkshire at the Chamber Office, she will be able to tell you. 216-226-2900.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions : ) I will pass the info. along....

Ballroom dancing.......how fun........I could never get Jerry to commit but would love to learn--any classes going on in Lakewood --swing dancing as was far as we went in the dancing world just because it goes along a little better with hotrods and rockabilly music----------
