Two weeks in a row!

Lakewood Observer made the top five hits from last weeks Cool Cleveland.

This project has taken off at a rate that could never have been planned. As issue two readies for press and issue three gets roughed in, everyone involved at any level with the Lakewood Observer should be very proud.

The open source reporting of the Lakewood Observer is now being studied and copied in other cities.

Jim-- I'm starting to get unsolicited reaction from people now. They are universally impressed but seem to really like the in depth nature of the articles. Of course this was always our intent but I think its value is only now becoming apparent.

So let's keep it cranked and everybody do your best!

To be honest, all of us are riding a monster. It has taken on a life of its own.

The calls into the office are staggering, an equal mix of compliments, ad requests, and people wanting to contribute.

I have gotten calls from New York, San Francisco, San Diego, and other cities.

If we all could really just concentrate on this, it will be legendary.

The best part for me is getting to work with people like you.

While passing out papers July 4th, one disappointed parade goer refused the offered copy.....He'd already read issue #1 and was hoping we were distributing issue #2....
