UPM Gas Station alarm on Madison/Baxterly

This damn thing has been set off three or four times in the past few weeks.
The first time, I called the police around 3 a.m. and the dispatcher told me they had already been to the site a few times and can't do anything but give the owners a ticket/fine. LPD couldn't get in touch with the owners or inside to deactivate the alarm, so the alarm was left running until the morning hours.
Isn't there some sort of way to prevent or fix this? No break-ins have occurred (to my knowledge) so I feel like someone is just setting the alarm off to piss the three block radius off. I get that all businesses have alarms, but there should be a way for LPD to deactivate the thing if the owners are sleeping.
There's no reason why the residents of this block should have to endure that sound all night while the owners are peacefully sleeping on the other side of town.
