Lakewood Elementary School Choirs tonight at LHS

Amazing in a word! The choir teachers did an amazing job bringing all the choirs together with folk and older songs, sang a song together, showcased SUPER talent of the Viva Boys group from the high school (kept my smile the whole time they sang) toasted Mrs. Selby on her 29 years and upcoming retirement and closed with the choirs encircling the audience to sing a song on peace.
It was a true feeling of pride and community! Almost felt surreal to be there with my college son who seemed that age in choir yesterday with some of the same amazing teachers.
