Yet another paper from the residents of Lakewood. A good paper if I do say so myself.
Filled with the very news and information that can attract good businesses and residents
to a city like Lakewood. However it still pains me, how many are willing to paint Lakewood
as CRIME CITY, and a terrible unsafe place to live or work. These are the people destroying
this town, and maybe it is time we ask why?

Please sit back, read this issue and see what this city has to offer, and help us focus on
an even better future, and better days ahead. Lakewood has it all, if only we could help
others see and understand it.

Thanks as always to the LO Staff, and the thousands that have taken part, and continue
to support this unique project, in the face of so much negativity in this city.

In this issue...

My favorite night in Lakewood - REFLECTIONS, thank you Judy and Carol for inviting us
to be a part of this celebration of artistic talent in Lakewood.

Students Talk With Lt. Demro in Iraq. Once again thank you to all that invited me to this
tremendous look inside schools. These 6th graders were very impressive as was Lt. Demro.

Stories from people and businesses that are loving Lakewood.

Diversity Potluck - Good people hanging with good people, what community is all about.

Youth Forum - Lakewood's youth talking and working together.

Kid's Corner

Vintage Lakewood

The best Calendar Page of events in the city!

and much more.

I'll admit it. I love this city, and everyone in it.

Peace, stay warm.
