In Memory of "Groundparrot" Gilligan...

Our loyal 'Deckers here will remember that my dear late parrot Gilligan assumed the role of climate/weather "observer" here in Lakewood, as there were apparently no local other Lakewood animals willing to step up to the plate. :shock:

Unfortunately, "Groundparrot" Gilligan passed away awhile ago, after living with us for more than 25 years. :cry:

As regular Lakewood Observer readers know, however, Gilligan was not the only bird flying around the Rice Ranch... :D

Fortunately for Lakewood, (or perhaps unfortunately, in this case) our little Conure, "Badweather" BB, has decided to offer his own "observations" for today. :D

BB just saw his shadow....and you KNOW what that means! :shock:

Six more weeks of "slushy", followed by six more weeks of "soggy", followed by six more weeks of "sultry". :roll:

Gilligan would be proud. :D

His legacy continues... :D
