We got the most amazingly gorgeous tree from the Lakewood Garden Center yesterday. We walked down there with our kids and our wagon, hoping to take one home, along with some pine roping. They don't bale the trees (we had to get it home another way) but they will do a fresh cut on the trunk.

We already have it up in the stand and it's huge and full and fresh. Family stopped by last night and they were gushing about it.

Their prices are about the same as Home Depot. The trees are from Magnolia, OH (near Canton) so the tree is local as well. He's limited on tree types (ours is a Frasier). They just got a new shipment, so if you want a live tree and want to support a Lakewood business, get over there!!

I got some nice flowers there this summer too. They are very nice and I am very happy they set up there!

The little shop next to Deweys is a nice Christmas shop for inside deocorations! Smells so nice and is beautifully decorated! A perfect gift for the wine lover or hostess gift there is a candle holder that fits into a wine bottle and they sell the dripless candles too!

I love our local shops!

I'm glad you posted this, Valerie. Sarah and I also got a beautiful Frasier from Paul, and I had the same conversation with him about the trees being from Canton (apparently, most pre-cut lot trees are from North Carolina).
