Water Department - Great Job!

Hopefully you will never have to deal with the water department like I did today, but I sure was impressed. I had a landscaping company working on replacing my lawn and they didn't contact O.U.P.S. (Ohio Utilities Protection Service). They destroyed the water main shutoff in my lawn and water was oozing out of the ground, at first I thought it was oil, o well.
I contacted the city and within minutes someone was there to try to help, then 2 or 3 more trucks came in and started sucking the water out so they could shut it off.
Thankfully the damage was toward my house and not toward the street and they got the water leak stopped. They then hooked me up to my neighbors water and we both get free water until the line is fixed!
I had contacted Kevin Butler during the process to ask him how things work when this happens and he answered my call, did some research and called me right back.
I was very impressed with everyone's professionalism, work ethic and knowledge.
It was a great day to be a resident of Lakewood.
