This year's "Come Home to Lakewood" tour features six historically or architecturally significant Lakewood residences as well as the Nicholson House.
Our own restored Nicholson house will also be open for the day of tour ticket sales, refreshments and a special movie on Lakewood's earliest settlers. You'll learn the history of these "first families" from the students of the 2/3 Grade Discovery Class at Grant Elementary School. ...
The proceeds will help maintain the society's Oldest Stone House Museum and Nicholson House.
Advance ticket sales for the House Tour are $15 and will be available beginning July 15th. Ticket may be purchased by mail, at the Oldest Stone House or at our retail outlets (see our website http://www.lakewoodhistory.org for those listings) or you purchase tickets online at http://www.lakewoodmuseumstore.com Tickets will also be sold at the Lakewood Historical Society's booth at the Lakewood Arts Festival on August 7th.
A limited number of tickets may be available the day of the tour for $20 at the Nicholson House. For more information please contact the Oldest Stone House at 216-221-7343 or http://www.lakewoodhistory.org.
