This is a great article. Maybe we need some basic Econ 101 classes offered to far left liberals. I believe that anyone can learn if they have an "open mind". :)

Who is better informed about the policy choices facing the country—liberals, conservatives or libertarians? According to a Zogby International survey that I write about in the May issue of Econ Journal Watch, the answer is unequivocal: The left flunks Econ 101.

I'm just going to point out that Bush was left with a balanced budget and money in the bank and he put us in debt, created a recession caused by deregulating banks and the authorizations for sub-prime loans by unscrupulous lenders with led to the foreclosure crisis and put us into wars that have devastated the economy.

Neo cons talk the talk but severely stumble on the mission.

The proof is in the pudding Ryan.

Only since you insist.

Sorry I'm late, I was attending a family wedding out of state.

1. Bush screwed some things up. You'll get no argument from me on that.

2. The Community Reinvestment Act of Carter, which was heavily reworked under Clinton, shares a large burden of responsibility for the housing crisis. It put the banks in a position where they must relax standards for loans of face stiff federal fines.

Globalism is based on the idea that America can consume more than it produces.
It is okay: wall street and retail moguls are getting rich. The Olsen Twins made way more money than gary coleman. the people on tv are getting rich. things must be okay. john and kate plus 8.

Dick Cheney has verified that Reagan proved deficits don't matter.

Reaganomics and Neo-con economic policy is directly tied to ballooning budgets and budget deficits.

Americans are trained from an early age to want to buy a lot of stuff.
The goal is to outsource production to spend more on advertising.
credit card offers arrive in the mail every week.
There are many more television/cable channels that need to be floated with advertising than in the past.

HipHop culture is the most conservative voting block in America: materialistic, militant, anti-intellectual or non-intellectual, impulsive, gluttonous, and rapacious.

Halliburton coaxed us into a two trillion dollar war with Iraq just to gain a few billion dollars in contracts. that isn't very efficient. the State could have just built Halliburton a really exclusive gated housing project.
