This is a great article. Maybe we need some basic Econ 101 classes offered to far left liberals. I believe that anyone can learn if they have an "open mind".

I'm just going to point out that Bush was left with a balanced budget and money in the bank and he put us in debt, created a recession caused by deregulating banks and the authorizations for sub-prime loans by unscrupulous lenders with led to the foreclosure crisis and put us into wars that have devastated the economy.
Neo cons talk the talk but severely stumble on the mission.

Americans are trained from an early age to want to buy a lot of stuff. The goal is to outsource production to spend more on advertising. credit card offers arrive in the mail every week. There are many more television/cable channels that need to be floated with advertising than in the past.
HipHop culture is the most conservative voting block in America: materialistic, militant, anti-intellectual or non-intellectual, impulsive, gluttonous, and rapacious.
Halliburton coaxed us into a two trillion dollar war with Iraq just to gain a few billion dollars in contracts. that isn't very efficient. the State could have just built Halliburton a really exclusive gated housing project.
