I would like to congratulate Mark Gleichauf on his May 17, 2010 appointment by the Lakewood City School District Board of Education to the position of Director of Teaching and Learning K-12 position. Mr. Gleichauf’s teaching and administrative experiences and his proven track record during his time with Lakewood Schools have prepared him well for this position. Mr. Gleichauf’s experience speaks for itself.
I would also like to congratulate Roxann Ramsey on her May 17, 2010 appointment by the Lakewood City School District Board of Education to the Principal of Grant Elementary School position. After meeting with the Superintendent and subsequently reviewing her background, I believe that Ms. Ramsey is qualified for this position.
Ms. Ramsey has had two years of administrative experience as an Assistant Middle School Principal and four years of experience as a Middle School and High School Student Activities Director. This past year, she has served as Coordinator of Teaching and Learning for the Lakewood City Schools. Ms. Ramsey trained administrators in the MCREL walkthrough protocol.
