Her opponent dropped out and she is now the new State Representative. Her honest campaign, her hard work, and her triumph over baiting and lies has won her the seat. I'm so happy and very, very proud.

With Nickie about to be our next state rep for the 13th district come January, what's the word on the street regarding her replacement on City Council?

It will be very interesting to watch!

It will speak volumes about politics and the powerbrokers in Lakewood.

How about Ed Favre moving from school board to city council?

Well,

It would all be based upon how you think he handled the process and the vote on the recent closing of Grant.

I think that the only one that handled himself openly and appropriately was Matt Markling.

Just my opinion.

I think we need some new and independent thinking on Council and on BOE.

No to Ed Favre.

I would prefer not to see anyone on the School Board just slide over to City Council.

you know there is a tiny and we are talking TINY part of me that always wanted to be on city council. But then I would start smacking stupid people and that isnt good...LOL.

And there are a lot of stupid people to smack! It would be hard!
