Needles On Street - Accept My Apology!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

I really try not to get to controversial or confrontational.

But I have to apologize for a story and the possibly the actions of the Lakewood Observer staff.

As I walked out of my door this morning I looked down and saw a needle on the street.

I went to get my camera to record the whole incident, and my wife reminded
me that we have just featured a story that could have lead to this!

In the last issue of the paper Christina McCallum wrote a wonderful story about the
Olympic Knitters and here right in front of my house on the street was a knitting needle.

If this trend continues, we might have try to rectify it.

Check out Christina's story.

Jim,

Thank you for finding my needle. It obviously does not pay to multitask, a least as far as knitting and running go. . . each is best done singly. My attempt to create a new category of biathalon needs revisiting.
