While the city ponders various ideas for making the city better, and more financially secure.
Looking into ideas like more burger restaurants, more restaurants, or more places to buy
cooked food. And finally starting to look at enlarging the Gold Coast west, and making
Clifton Beach public through legal and approved use of eminent domain.

Today as I looked out my window I saw the opportunity to turn a negative into a positive.

They are dismantling the methane tank at the water treatment plant. At the same time we
have the Lakewood Skateboarder Association trying to raise money to construct a bowl at
Lakewood Park which would finish the skateboard park.

Why not just move what is left of the methane tank to Lakewood Park? While those of use
who live on the Emerald Canyon have looked at it and explained it away for years, I think it
would become a wonderful addition to the Lakewood Park.

Discussion?

I would imagine Vince will come in and say something about transitions and how that big globe just wouldn't work. But you never know. Now my 12 year old would to try something like that. Thanks for the laugh Jim.

Good idea. But we may need to get the coast guard to pick up the boarders who end up flying into Lake Erie after catching some air off that thing.
