Since have not kept up with all phases of the school consolidations, I was just wondering what schools are currently not in use?

Franklin is being used to house the Lakewood Academy, although I think only the modular units are used as classrooms but I am not 100% certain on that.

So they are not inside the building?
How many kids go to this Academy?
Is this a Charter School?
Does it report to BOE?
Thanks,
Rhonda

Not sure how many kids go to it. The school is for older kids that for various reasons no longer can attend traditional school due to disciplinary issues. Honestly I don't know much about the school, although I do know that prior to the announcement that Franklin would close many neighbors were concerned about the school being located there. They had heard rumors but the board denied that they had any immediate plans for the building. The next fall the students were moved there.

Lakewood Lutheran
and in the fall Sts Cyril & Methodious
All have shuttered school buildings.
