The big news, Chef Geoff and Bret Callentine are back!

Many of the regulars that have taken part in the paper are coming back for visits, and
to drop in now and then and keep their fingers in the project.

Isn't it time you came back to write, or even better pick up that keyboard for the first time?

Take part in Lakewood's historical civic journalism project that is hear to collect and document
your stories and thoughts on Lakewood. Take the time to share you historical perspective,
what your group or block is doing, or what you like about this wonderful city.

The Lakewood Observer was created to give all Lakewoodites an equal voice in this community
and the Observation Deck was created to give all Lakewoodites ONE SEAT at the discussion.

Don't believe the hype, your voice is needed and wanted by all. Take a minute, or longer
and join with all Observers in writing the history of Lakewood.

You will never be told, your comments, ideas, or thoughts are not important to the open
indepth discussion about all things Lakewood, by the LO board. Of course your neighbors
might not agree, but that is what democracy and open discussions are all about.

Thanks to all, special thanks to Mel Page, Margaret Brinich, Maggie Fraley, Frank Lanza,
The editors, webmasters, and thousands of people that have taken part over the years.

DAMN I LOVE THIS CITY, because of the people and businesses, not in-spite of them!
